How to use it
- Choose images, or drag them in. They never leave your device.
- Set a maximum width: 1600 px suits blogs and social posts, 1200 px is plenty for documents. Images are never enlarged.
- A quality around 80% cuts size a lot with little visible change.
- Set a target size (such as 500 KB) and quality is lowered step by step until each file fits.
- Download each image or all as a ZIP.
JPG is accepted everywhere. WebP is 25 to 35% smaller at the same quality and keeps transparency, but some older upload forms reject it. Compression also strips hidden photo data such as GPS location.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
Does it work with iPhone HEIC photos?
Safari usually converts them automatically. If another browser cannot open them, set Camera → Formats → Most Compatible on the iPhone or export as JPG first.
Can it keep transparency?
Choose WebP to keep transparent backgrounds. JPG fills them with white.
