Random Name Picker and Ladder Game

Draw winners from a list, or play the ladder game to match people to results.

Nothing you type is sent to a server. Everything runs in your browser.

Ladder

    How to use it

    1. Enter names, one per line.
    2. Ladder: enter one result per person (prize, chore, "nothing") and press Build ladder. Tap a name to trace their path, or Reveal all. Missing results are filled with "—".
    3. Pick winners: choose how many and press Draw. Winners appear in draw order, which also works for presentation order or teams.

All randomness comes from your browser's crypto.getRandomValues, the same source used for security keys, so results cannot be predicted or steered.

    FAQ

    Is the ladder really fair?

Randomly drawn rungs can favor some positions slightly, so this tool shuffles the outcome fairly first and then lays out rungs that produce it. Every starting position has the same odds.

How many names can I enter?

Up to 20 for the ladder and 200 for the picker.
