How to use it
- Pick a type: if unsure, use Code 128. It takes letters, numbers and symbols and almost every scanner reads it. Retail products use EAN-13 or UPC-A.
- Enter the content: SKU, asset number, inventory code. For EAN-13 you can enter 12 digits and the check digit is added.
- Make many: turn on Many at once and paste a column from a spreadsheet (up to 500). Lines that don't fit the format are flagged.
- Adjust and download: SVG for label printers and print, PNG for documents.
Printing tips
- Dark bars on white scan best. Red bars fail on many laser scanners.
- Keep the blank margin on both sides of the code.
- Test one printed label with a real scanner before a big print run.
